ESPN 104.5 App is Trash

Curious if I'm the only one that experiences this. I use their app a good bit since I'm in Hoover. The app is constantly stopping/pausing itself. I then have to restart or hit play and listen to the obnoxious Bayou Ford ad again. Am I the only one this is happening to?

I love the app but what you are describing happens to me as well. I does get aggravating sometimes. I'm in Mississippi.

I agree the app is trash especially if you are replaying the archived shows. It’s best to use your browser and avoid the app. Word is T-Bob and Scone had a hand in the app design.

Florida here. Same problem. Try restarting your phone or using the YouTube app on your phone.

I use the YouTube app. Don't think I even have the 104.5 app on my phone anymore.

Most mornings 104.5 and 104.9 radio service in Baton Rouge is trash and I work 5 minutes from the station.

The bayou ford ad is loud af too.

They will also sometimes mute some of the commercials on Youtube so that's another plus for switching to Youtube.

LSU sports app is trash as well.
I use it to listen to a lot of games while I'm driving since I'm out of state. There's many points in my drive where the audio will just stop playing and take a minute or two to come back. This doesn't happen with any other audio streaming apps. I just use the eagle 98.1 app now, also a bad app, but the audio never cuts out.

I live in AL as well. App is definitely trash. I try and just live stream everything from YouTube when I’m at home. On the road I use the podcasts, unless I’m listening live.

I've noticed it does this when on wifi and you lose wifi connection, the ad replays when the connection comes back. It does it every time I'm listening in the morning and get in my truck to leave for work. Maybe try turning off wifi next time to see if that is the culprit.

follow and Listen on the YouTube app. Much easier listening and you can fast forward the commercials
