LSU NT Travonte Valentine for Baylor QB Jarrett Stidham

Why it makes sense for LSU: Brandon Harris made strides this spring, but he has never looked as good as Stidham did when he passed for 1,265 yards, 12 touchdowns and two interceptions last year. He took over as Baylor's starter after seven games, so he had plenty of big-game experience as a freshman. LSU also has plenty of depth in the middle of its defensive line and no one has actually ever seen Valentine in person. There have been whispers of sightings, but the only confirmed "encounters" are people entering a room believed to house the 360 lb behemoth, only to find that he "just left".

Why it makes sense for Baylor: Unicorns are hard to find

I'd be willing to trade him for Chad Kelly or Greg Ward Jr.

Nope. Was actually glad to see it used. The one time in 2014 I thought we actually did a good job of using Jennings was agains A&M in the last week of the season. Granted it was a bad defense, but we didn't even try to use him prior to that week. It's a simple concept, put your players in the best position to be successful.

Yet again, would Greg Ward Jr thrive in our system under our coaches?

His coach, the offensive mastermind genius himself.. recruited Harris personally out of high school.

Pretty sure he would have tremendous success with Harris as well.

I have belief in Harris. I think he's ready and I want the best defense we can have. Trade declined.

Idk if you noticed but it's funny now that you've said this. Every year in our last game we use our offense the way we should have all year. It's crazy... Even this year Harris actually took the ball on some plays and gained huge yards when he did. If LSU would do this more it would totally confuse the defense and no way they could pin their ears back. This is what I've been wanting to see and I think everyone else also. Just be more aggressive and keep the defense on their heels at all times mixing things up with high tempo with fakes, keepers, and handing off to the horses we have. Get the ball out fast and you can create routes to do this. Also have the TEs blocking and running all around the field. If you call the plays correctly the d couldn't come on a full out blitz and the OL doesn't have so much trouble pass blocking. They could get lucky every once in a while but that's about it. Dictate the defense with play calling. It is very possible....
