They didn't come to pick up Lowery. I don't think that was their intent. Someone else made that assumption. The laywer claimed some of the victims came to pick up a friend and weren't even hanging out at the bar.

Lowery waiting to harass his ex outside the bard sees people he knows get beat up and runs in pulling the driver out. LSU players realize it's the same douche from inside and start pounding on him, eventually with one or two kicking him while he's on the ground.
Players run off and leave.
In the end, it's still the onus on the players for going too far and the fact is the person with the fractured vertebrae was the driver not Lowery.
My guess is two people will be charged, JJ and whoever is deemed to have cracked the guys vertebrae. Both will be plead down to misdemeanors and both players suspended for 3 games or so.
Holy freakin John Grishim. That's some good stuff there.

If jj does not get charged before he hops on the plane to dallas, he plays. In the meantime this will get dropped to simple battery for the players and lowery and gang will get charged the same.

put yourself in their shoes. I sure in the hell wouldn't call out any football players, who frequent the place regularly.
