I believe it was 2010... He was supposed to graduate from Catholic in 2009, but I'm assuming that since he got kicked out fairly late in the year they wouldn't allow him to walk.

This may be correct to. Didn't really hear much about him after Catholic.

No, I just understand how the criminal justice system works and know somethings that you guys don't.

I posted on this board several days ago that Shady's employees would testify that Lowery started the fight.

This can't be. Lowery wasn't in Shady's. Right?

Can someone find the quote from Lowery's attorney from the other day?

based on everything we've learned, this is how I think it played out:

-Lowery and girlfriend break up
-Lowery stalks x-girlfriend at home and then at bar
-Lowery not happy with Brad Wing for talking to his x-girlfriend and cusses at and punches him
-Lowery kicked out of Shady's
-Lowery (and friends that came to pick him up)waits on x-girlfriend and/or football players in parking lot so that he/they can start crap
-All hell breaks loose in parking lot and one of the "victims" (cough cough) gets kicked in the ordeal
-Lowery gets beat down
TigerLee, Capt Bungle and the gang cry like little girls now.

Lowery did likely punch a player in the bar. Nobody I know is denying that, but these are two different incidents. The 3 other guys weren't involved in punching anyone inside the bar and again who started it doesn't change the fact that LSU players went overboard and by legal definition committed second degree battery.

I hate to say it but I would not be surprised if several people come forward and say this.

I doubt anyone surrounded or near a large group of big arse dudes is taking the first swing at anyone.

I am not getting into the who is at fault debate but these bar employees would have been saying this from day one loud and clear - their business depends on it.

I actually agree with this, other than I don't think anyone will ever be found guilty and or plead guilty to second degree battery, whether it fits the legal definition or not.

At most, misdemeanors will come from this IMO.

Have you seen the other guys official statements?

If so did they not name any names?

I am not disputing anything that you claimed about Lowery, however your statement was that he was the only person who named names. By claiming this I am assuming that you have read their official statments made to the police.

True. Even the revelation that the "victim(s)" may have thrown the first punch is potentially bad for Team Sweep. It doesn't really matter how it started, the result of the fight is bad for JJ et al.

Well the more info that comes out the worse it gets for Lowery. Probably why his dad MADE him go to the hospital. Dude knows he started shite. Btw, I think Antonio has some legal connections around the city if I'm not mistaken. Maybe I am.

Why does nobody understand that JJ is done. That all those players are still going to be suspended. This mess has tarnished LSU. This is a much bigger deal than what RP did with a gun. If Miles is smart he throwns JJ off the team so the younger guys realize that nobody is safe. The longer Miles takes to do something the worse it will get in that locker room.
jj done? I don't think so. I am not even going to waste the time to convince you. Jj plays September third.

They supposedly and now it looks likely they waited outside the bar for trouble and bit off more than they could chew.

The punch in bar occurred minutes before everything moved outside. It's a continuance of the same occurrence. Right now, not one single credible witness can point to a specific player as the kicker. Now, the other three may release statements about who did what, but that hasn't happened yet.

Second degree battery is one of the hardest charges to prove in Court. The DA isn't going to accept a second degree battery charge with a lying accuser and sketchy evidence. They MAY charge simple battery which is a much lower crime, but even then someone is going to have to identify a specific person who threw a punch.

As much as people want to claim it changes the story, it really doesn't. What happened inside the bar, while may show some motive for the players, does not chance the main story outside other than Lowery helping some random dude, which isn't something he actually claims.

So far, the "MAIN STORY" has been provided from the police. Their information is based on statements from Andrew Lowery and his apparent new girlfriend (how would she know where he was at 6:10 am per police report).

They should rename the police report to complaint report.
