They're just as human and subject to death or injury as everyone else, I see no reason they should have to clear higher standards than you or I.
Well, that's a problem. But forget that, they literally get away with murder.

If you want to move past mere assertions I'm happy to talk about it but so far there's nothing I can comment on.

My old boss was an Army Ranger, something most humans cant accomplish or do, and he has no problem with these players kneeling since he served for their right to do so.
Who GAF. You obviously haven't served. Don't speak of what you know nothing about.

The government is at the game?
What? Maybe watching on TV and phoning in their disdain?

Who the hell are you to decide when and where the appropriate times to protest are?
Well, who the hell are they to decide it? People make decisions like this and it's up to me, and me alone, to decide how I feel about it. Or do you think I should be subject to your dictates?
I find it funny that lefties tend to defend freedom of expression by trying to deny others the right to criticize it. And they never realize the irony of their tomfoolery.

At the end of the day it's not the taking of the knee that's disrespectful, it's the reason for the knee. If Collin Kaepernick/ Eric Reid or whoever would've took a knee for cops that are killed in the line of duty or soldiers killed in battle, they would be seen as patriotic. I remember watching Marshawn Lynch getting his back worked on a few years ago during the national anthem, and he always sit down but nobody says anything. I wonder why

Yea, you gotta really look hard to see the players kneeling. Not like the cameras aren't putting them front and center or anything...
The players aren't controlling the cameras, and they certainly aren't controlling your remote. And at most you're talking about a couple of quick shots of players kneeling in between shots of players standing, fans standing, the flag waving, etc. If it bothers you that much, it's because you were looking for something to be triggered by.

Calling America systemically racist is very inflammatory.
and accurate. And all the people getting their feelings so hurt by people wanted to discuss systemic racism only prove that point even more.

Then you're proud of an ignorant race baiter.
No, I said I'm proud of Reid, not Trump.

On the other hand, any state with police who are the only ones allowed to use force is a police state.
OMG, we have some funny morons on here. EVERY state has police, and in EVERY state only the police are allowed to use force. Let's list some countries about which this is true:
Ancient Athens
Ancient Sparta
The former Soviet Union
The USA
Red China
Latvia
Britain
Canada
Venezuela
Bolivia
Japan
Cambodia
and my favorite, Uzbekistan
