Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
I was a huge fan of his when he was a Tiger, screw him now. I don’t care if he ever plays another down.

As his actions should adhere him from a contract. He obviously will not abide by the moral clauses!

The vast majority of people work for companies that would not tolerate such actions while on the clock. Reid is learning one of life’s lessons.

Guess he will have lots of time to kneel all fall.
No body wants the distraction and I really loved the way he played for LSU.

Hopefully you will never play again you selfish a-hole

I'm just curious what makes you call him selfish.

He should have paid attention when Johnny Manziel was being an idiot and see where it got him. They both got paid well for playing football until they did dumb shyt. Deal with the consequences.

Man, he's reaping what he sowed, but some of you are just mean about it. I don't want him to fail, I'd rather he figure it out. No reason to hate on the guy, I hope he starts listening to someone wise around him and changes his tune so he can get paid a few more years before reality wrecks his world.

Ok, that's fine, but that doesn't mean he's selfish. He protested against what he believed to be unjust using the platform he has. He didn't believe the people in the impoverished communities that he was protesting for had a voice. In my book, that's the total opposite of selfish whether you agree with his position or his manner of protest or not.

He’s getting millions of dollars to play a game. He made a terrible error in judgement, I don’t care if he never makes another dollar in the league. If these players truly cared about losing “their people” maybe they could use their fame and their money to help the black community to quit killing each other. Statistics show that is an infinitely greater threat than dying at the hands of a LEO.

It's all about respecting the American flag.

The idiots on here are showing their true selves.....

using the platform he has
It's not exactly his platform. It's the nfl/owner's platform. In this case it would be selfish to push 'his' agenda vs the owners/nfl especially when the nfl gets paid to promote the military. And what exactly is unjust? upon what judgment? His? if so then we/nfl owners have every right to disagree with his views and not support/sign him. As a person in active duty service who disagrees a lot with US foreign policy I find it pretty disrespectfully to kneel before an ensign that gave you the right to do so...

As he should, but these idiots want athletes just to “shut up and play”.

You are terribly uneducated about who the Confederate soldiers were and why they fought. Modern education has failed you. The South wanted to chart it's own coarse after being financially raped by northern interest for decades. The north had rigged it to where they were making forty cents out of every dollar shipped through northern ports. The North had four times the population of the South yet the South was financing 80% of the federal government. When the South seceded from the Union,it SOLVED the "problem" of slavery in the USA because it did not exist there anymore. The north never fought to free the slaves in Cuba or Mexico. They killed 750,000 young men in the prime of their lives and had to invent a reason for it other than the real reason which was to continue to rape the South financially. What gave the north ownership of the people of the South to the degree that they could FORCE them to stay in a one-sided union? Nothing. The real MEN of the South stood up to them with everything they had in defense of their states and families. Slavery wasn't just plantations in the South. It was also ship builders and ship owners in the north as well as bankers and financiers in the north making money off of it. Those whom you refer to as traitors were actually hereos standing up for what they believed in.

I was strictly talking about it from the selfish standpoint. Whether or not it's right is up to each individual's opinion and there will never be a consensus.
