So, given that...what is the low end of expectations for you.
Given the coaching situation, 10-2 would be on the low end, and it is what I think LSU finishes. My issue is that LSU has the talent and schedule for an 11-1 season, with that one loss being a somewhat close loss to Bama.

If you believe this to be such a bad move, what is your low end? 6-6? 5-7?
Why would I pick that? This is the most talented team LSU has had in years. I'm just hung up on the fact that LSU's opponents are making proven big name offensive hires, while LSU has hired Les Miles' TE coach and a young guy with less than 5 years of experience.

This is all fine and dandy, but Ensminger is going to have to accept that Brady is a better play caller than he is for this to work.

How many plays has Brady called?

I mean just looking at the team I’m talking about

5 stars

QB taj Boyd
Sammy Watkins

4 star

Andre Ellington
Dwayne Allen
Martavis Bryant

They have a good system, there is no doubt about that. QBs can be system dependent so I won’t lump Boyd into it, but Those guys can play in any system and certainly weren’t specifically targeted as special fits. They were just that good; everyone wanted them

The same way LSU has the athletes to run any system they want.

What has the guy done to deserve ridicule

This right here. The guy has done nothing to deserve what he's getting right here. He's been hired to do a job and he obviously has the confidence of the people that hired him that he's capable of doing the job. They're in a much better position to make that call than any of the uninformed people on this board so for now I'll roll with the people that actually know what's going on.

The praise or the ridicule? He’s done nothing to deserve either.

The fact that you think that you have some kind of say or that your opinion counts for anything blows my mind. LSU will be just fine. The play calling will be just fine. fricking dramaqueen.
Ben. It is a message board. Calm down. I know you aren't feeling well, but no need for personal insults.

You're talking about a few players. Stanford's recruited a good amount of highly touted recruits as well.

Many programs (including ours) have recruited more NFL players and haven't seen their success. My point isn't that they haven't had any highly rated recruits, it's just that they've done much more with what they have.

Because in an interview with OTB he said that Carmichael was really smart?

Damn, that’s all it takes to be a protege these days?

This isn’t just a few players this is literally just about all of their successful skill players in the Davi era save for Renfrow & Adam Humphries

Clemson recruits nfl players. They don’t recruit for a system. Bottom line. Their system does not require a special type of player

Deon Cain 5*
Trevor Lawrence 5*
Tee Higgins 4*
Etienne 4*
Amari Rodgers 4*
Mike Williams 4*
Wayne Gallmam 4*
Justyn Ross *4*
Deshaun Watson 4*

Brady broke down game film. That's it.
He installed the RPO package for Hill and the other dual-threat QBs

You seriously think a film room analyst gets that much responsibility? If Brees had been injured, we'd have seen a lot of Brady'e offense.

he may have had insight but I haven't seen that confirmed anywhere but here on the rant.

also calling the Hill plays an RPO is kind of a stretch since it was all determined pre snap, Hill never actually made reads.

this is just straight up delusional

Bridgewater, Hill, Barrett - all are dual threat QBs, genius. L.O.L.
