Irrational judgement is what I've accused fans of having. And there's plenty of examples of it. For one, note how other coaches that fans went nutz over wanting LSU to hire instead of coach O, totally suck!

As for the way O sounds you can mark my words...anyone with a southern accent outside the south is looked upon automatically with 50 fewer IQ points. Just sayin'

I don't know how the Orgeron experiment will go, but I'm pulling like hell for him. I would be pulling for any coach at LSU though because I want to see them win.

O really impressed me this past week. After our waxing by Miss St, uninspired play against Syracuse, and freaking disaster at Troy. I had absolutely no hope for him at all. When we went down 20-0. I was sure we were going to get beat by 50.
The team showed fight, and lots of it. If this team can play like it did Saturday the rest of the season, then I just might change my opinion on O

The whole darned team is amazing. Down by 20 and they come back and win. Etling looks absolutely stud. Everyone of those young men laid all on the line.

LSU fans were just hoping LSU wouldn't get blown out by 50, and these young men laid it all on the line, enough so that they earned a victory!

So moral of the post is... if you are expected to win and do win, you must win more, by larger margins, running the offense that the rantards want you to run, else you should be fired. However, if you have two historic losses then squeeze out an uninspiring win, followed by a horrendous quarter of football BUT come back to win, then you have righted the ship and are worthy of praise!
TL;DR - fail horribly and you get massive praise for anything positive. Succeed, and you only reap misery.
