It takes courage to take a step backwards to move forward.

The outpouring of support seemed to do something

Along with the national media making them second guess

Exactly. Our leaders have no courage. No vision. Just fear of not receiving a paycheck

Is one recruiting class that important when the others have been disappointments. I like Les but the administration is foolish to think that anything will change until they have the balls to do what is necessary for the program. Personal agendas are sacrificing the need

Yep. Was afraid of this, but thought maybe reason would prevail. Unbelievable.

I still think that this may not be over. No source. I personally think his health is an issue

When Jimbo backed out, there was no Plan B because there are no worthy replacements available at this point in time.

Yep. Just wait until next year when the rhythm continues to the same ole beat.

I guess this one game somehow turned everything around?

What if we lost to aTm? Still bring Miles back?

Wait a minute, I thought Jimbo and/or Kelly were the targets.

Now, the narrative is "shite, we should have fired him anyway and hoped that some MAC guy or Kliff Kingsbury or some shite caught lightning in a bottle"

I thought the point of firing Miles was expressly not to go backwards, even temporarily.

Iowa could have fired Kirk Ferentz last year and the support for the decision would have been overwhelming.

He is now 12-0, taking his team into the conference title game with a playoff spot on the line.

Miles is a good coach. LSU needs to let this play out a bit longer. The guy is up against one of the all time greats in Saban. Everybody has scads of money, even the Iowa's of the world. Many have equally or greater talent.

Uh, how about reality trumps irrational behavior?

The coaching search should start tonight, but instead, it's ending because so many dumbasses got involved.

We will be in the same situation next year. We will lose to Ala when they shut down our running game. The Same is true of at least two other Sec teams. We will be talking about replacing Miles again and many will be saying, give him one more year. These people are afraid of change and in time they will become used to losing or they may already be.
