no, they realized with no Jimbo and nothing else for certain lined up, that they'd be roasted if they fired an 8-3 coach and ended up with a their 8+ choice as head coach. Like it or not, the way they played their hand they backed themselves into a corner.

I think most rational people agree that Les has earned one more year but the misleading information posted gave us all false hope of improvement. I think there are better coaches available but no one is willing or able to put aside personal politics to look over the media darling and make the hard decision

My guess is "Yes" because there was no intention of hiring either Fuentes or Herman.
I mean, look at the facts: LSU looked ABYSMAL in the game tonight. Les wasn't held accountable for that or for the three losses. So, yeah, even if LSU lost tonight, Les would have been retained is my guess.

Goood lawd.....I'm absolutely wore out from this weeks circus...guess we sitback and watch now.............I hope at least other changes are made...We need a new OC that he MUST let run his own offense.....

Who comes to this one year shittstorm as OC? Nothing good comes from this decision. All to keep a top5 bunch of 17 year olds that half of won't pan out? Who runs this circus?

Where did less find 75,000 fans in one week, this is ridiculous... What has he done for us lately. Bring in number 1 classes to waste, still no qb, still no discipline... Woohoo more big cat!
