Davis-Price May get redshirted and only appear in 4 games. Curry will be needed this year and will be a solid contributor because he is good.

I hope this was sarcasm.

Davis-Price isn't getting redshirted.

We've had super stars since Jeremey Hill. Prior to that it was either committee, Charles Scott in 2008, or giving it to a guy a bunch of times while he averaged under 5 yards a carry.
We've had superstars well before Hill even if it was by committee

It was quite literally one year and we had a 1,000 yard back. That just shows you how good our RB’s have been for a really long time.
Agreed. NB was a solid SEC RB. He hit the right hole, got the tough yards, had decent power/speed, could catch the ball, and was really good in pass protection. He just wasn’t a HR hitter from the backfield. There seemed to be a bunch of times that NB got a nice gain but I remember thinking LF or DG would’ve took it to the house.
Now we conceivably had that threat again (maybe even a couple of them with Emery and Davis). In addition we have a more mature CEH who seems like a Terrence Magee clone.

I dont understand why/how people get pumped up behind comments like these. Chris Curry is a beast. Why would you want him to transfer, or if you don't want him to, why would you assume he would be the type to jump ship? Curry is a model Tiger and isn't going anywhere. This is just a silly, ignorant comment
I understand why someone would think Curry would be in line to transfer. It’s because they don’t understand football.
Curry’s issue last year was never running ability. It was pass protection.
Defenses knew that every time he was in the backfield he was getting the ball. That’s why his YPC was low. But of course every knowledgeable fan already knew all that.
I’d bet that the coaches have worked on that with him this offseason and his YPC will be considerably higher this season.

Nice to see a Home Run threat!

Chris Curry into the transfer portal by game 3
Why? I wouldn't be surprised to see 2 RB's in on the same play. Much like LSU did with Dalton Hilliard and Garry James. I can see several RB's getting playing time.

I'm not going back that far like the 90s or something, but people acting like we've always had that elite guy every year are lying. When I think of super star, I think of a guy that you have to think of as top 5 in the country, 10th at the very worst.

There are worse things for a college RB than to be underused... like being used up, and too banged up to have much NFL value left by the time the draft comes around.
