Become the 70’s Oakland Raiders of the conference. People loved to hate the Raiders back then. They were outlaws.

guess it doesn’t matter Mulkey could sneeze and the media and most fans would criticize

Newspaper headline: "Mulkey saves 10 babies from burning building"

Libitard corner of Twitter: "If she hadn't been so busy being "MAGA Mulkey", she would have been there before the building caught fire"

Did you watch the entire game? The refs let the game be played physical. They also, never issued warnings for after games play shite talking. The USC girl was walking through her. None of that excuses the hit by the USC girl.

Everyone I see outside of LSU is talking about how thuggish our women’s basketball team plays and how it’s a reflection of Mulkey

Same stuff they said about her teams at Baylor, the jealousy of her success pisses people off. Her teams play hard but not dirty.

I really don't care about one's political affiliation. I have never heard of Mulkey address any political issues, one side or the other yet she often gets referred to as "MAGA Mulkey" across social media platforms. Is this because she didn't have much to say about Griner when she was locked up?

That, her opinions during Covid, her standing up for Baylor when their football program had the sexual assault scandal. Hell, they were pissed at her recently when she said you shouldn’t compare Caitlin Clark to Pistol Pete.

I know I’m in the minority with my opinion, but LSU looks bad in 2 ways.
1. If Flauge wouldn’t have pushed the girl, this would not have happened.
2. Mulkey basically promotes fighting by saying she wish the girl would have done that to Reese.
Troll with 83 posts total.
1. CKM condemned what happened.
2. The USCE player was in Flauge's personal space with a threatening posture and went out of her way to get there. She is the real instigator.

I think this was a good thing for us. With a non existent bench, we couldn’t afford to have anyone foul out.

Talk about much ado about nothing. I guess because this happened in a women's game it is a "big deal." Otherwise, this is not terribly outrageous in competitive sports.

First, we might want to believe the game should be played like 5th grade basketball, but the reality is trash-talk happens ALL game long...by both teams. LSU's players were trash-talking just like South Carolina.

The girl from USC yelled in Johnson's face. She probably should have gotten a technical foul for it. But I can see why the refs may not have wanted to call a technical foul at that moment of the game given BOTH teams had been jawing all game. At minimum though, the officials should have quickly stepped in to deescalate the situation.

Johnson pushed the girl who was in her face. It's an emotional game. So I get it. Johnson pushed her and was walking away...then they started getting in each other's faces again. It happens.

What escalated everything beyond just two competitors getting after it a little bit was the bozo big-girl from USC blindsiding Johnson. But she was ejected from the game...as she should have been.

Everything else is just overreaction.

But you know who LOVES this? Kim Mulkey. It's human nature to have a bit of complacency once you reach the top of the mountain like LSU did last season. I'm sure Mulkey has been fighting that all season. But now a fire has been lit under her team at just the right time. Mulkey will have to control the emotion, but every coach wants a pissed off and determined team going into the playoffs. In fact, she's probably thrilled LSU lost the game. She can now sell it a bit as a 1985 Villanova or 1986 LSU situation. In 85 Villanova lost top ranked Georgetown twice in some physical games...until the National Championship game. In 86 LSU lost to Kentucky 3 times...until the Elite Eight.

That is a huge part of it, but "MAGA Mulkey" was a thing before that, and I am really not sure where it started.
