Congrats on having a rowdy crowd 15+ years ago

Thanks?
That rowdy crowd was what every other school has tried to recreate since the 90’s and it didn’t involve throwing crap on the field to achieve. It isn’t whining to expect better from our student section.

My cousins a student and sat with me tonight, even he admitted it was stupid. I’m all for “students being students” but there was zero reason to do that

Dude...for us that were forced to listen on the radio.,what happened????

After Thompson's double, people, presumably students, from the right field bleachers appeared to litter the field with their beer bottles. It took about a minute to clear it up. And people here are strangely defending it whereas we all know that of it happened to us at Tennessee, we would be calling them classless rednecks

But everyone wants “berms” and “legit student sections” throwing beer on everyone like Ole Piss…

It's awesome when the football crowd shows up to other sporting events like baseball or basketball

My favorite crowd. Love it when you get the football fan crowd at a basketball or a baseball game.

I mean...if this the hill you are willing to die on...if you couldn't see that this game meant a bit more to the ENTIRE fan base tonight, students are gonna be students. Realistically worst case scenario, they get tossed for throwing a beer on the field...and they head to the bar? Relax

The reason you have to ask, proves it was a non-event

Which would also be dumb. Games are meant to be fun. Student sections are meant to be rowdy. That was a huge moment and they were excited. Do yall want Alex box to be like the pmac? Bc it isn't far from it. This board is really starting to age

I'm willing to accept that. As a longtime LSU Baseball fan in Left Field since 1999, it chapped my arse when I heard how Tennessee fans treated our team and fans in Knoxville.

So now that game 1 is under the belt and we beat their asses, can we meet in the middle?

Can you relay to the LSU Students attending the Baseball games Tomorrow and Sunday that they are encouraged to be loud and rowdy as they want to be but please refrain from throwing things on the field?

I think Boomers would be willing to close their ears if the students agree to not litter the field.

Throwing beer can in the field keeps Alex box from becoming the pmac?

The stadium was jumping then we look over and there is trash all over right field because one failing student decided to throw their beer and monkey see monkey do from there.

Yep. The entire Left Field was cheering and suddenly stopped, thinking something bad happened in Right Field. Then we realized our own fans did that shite.

I don't care what anyone says about fans these days, that was the first time that shite ever happened and it will not be tolerated.

Absolutely, the fans got their emotions out last night and payback. These next two are about restoring order. Cheers! Geaux Tigers!

The student section is embarrassing and has been as of late. Have fun, keep it semi clean, and don’t throw shite on the field, dumb asses. It’s not hard.
