It doesn't say he was talking to Saban before. He may have been ,but that has no way of proving that. He could have meant he was ready to sign with Bama. Post entering portal. Context is pretty poor in statement.

And saying that, I wouldn't doubt that he talked to someone at Bama, but i seriously doubt it would have been Saban. Not till after.

of course not but Ricks implies that he talked to Saban several times before deciding he was ready to enter the portal. This is relevant with Louisville accusing Alabama of tampering with its players.

Get over it. Ricks had zero ties to LSU and made a business decision after going 11-11 in his two years in Baton Rouge. There are a lot of people on this board lying if they said they wouldn’t look at all the options if they were in his position.

I think you need to work on your reading comprehension and quit trying to make it mean what you want it to.
