I think he is trying to say that people have the misconception that Les Miles knows nothing about coaching an offense and has never had any success doing so. He is simply pointing out that that is not necessarily the case.

More importantly, Miles has head coached 4 of Top 5 LSU Os also, according to '12 LSU Media Guide.

The only conclusion regarding the offensive ranks is that there is a wide variance of ranks with regard to total offense.


One conclusion is that of the 15 years shown, there are only 4 winning seasons and 3 of them were under Miles as HC.

All I see is Mike Gundy made their offense really good in 02 and 03.

Miles changed the mentality of the whole team. Made them tougher and more competitive by recruiting better players. Before him the team had been losing for a while. You really seem to look for any way to take a jab at Miles
