I think we get lucky and get the 6pm timeslot. Here are the other SEC matchups for Week 6:

frick that. If it was a Home game then yeah the night game is what we want but for the away game frick that. It is 100% better to get the 11:00 am kickoff.

Why do we want a road SEC kickoff at night?

Because 11 am kickoffs are garbage and we aren't afraid of night game at Missouri.

Well then you’re a moron. They 100% have a better chance beating us at night than at 11. Do you not understand this?

You must've forgotten the last time we played Mizzou in the morning.

They just plain suck. I think they all have an inferiority complex because generally the people from Missouri that go to Mizzou are the also-rans of their high school and watch their peers going off to real schools in other parts of the country and are jealous that they're stuck in mid-Missouri with no real signs of civilization for 2 hours in any direction.

IMO, more preparation time for a morning away game. Starkville isn't that bad because it's half the distance of Columbia.

LSU will fly into Columbia on Friday. It's a charter flight that will probably take a little over an hour. It's not like LSU is busing to Columbia or having to deal with a layover in Houston. They aren't traveling to Seattle

Plus, they will likely being staying in a hotel much closer to campus than they were in Starkville given Columbia is a bigger. The big deal with the MSU game was LSU had about an hour bus ride in to Starkville for the game.

From a personal standpoint I enjoy watching road games on TV, at night. But I get what the other posters are saying in that just like night home crowds are more lively in Tiger Stadium, the same is generally true at other venues as well.

Prove it. Missouri is 4-11 in home SEC night games. 9-8 in home SEC 11 am games

Nice. Can’t wait to roll in their with my jamarr chase jersey on and rip their lives apart with insults if they try to harass me in any way.

You're the one who's theory is "omgggg nooooo we can't play big bad Missouri at night. It's such a disadvantage to play them at night. 100% better chance they beat us at night. You're a moron if you want to play a night game"

4-11 in home SEC night games. Ain't skeered of em.

It’s Mizzou. They don’t pack the stadium, ever. They played a ranked KState which used to be a big rival earlier this year. Tons of people talked about the game around town. Come game time 1/5 of the stadium was empty - and that’s a 60,000 seat stadium.

They also routinely play day games, so a night game is no advantage - other than the temp will probably be in the mid 50s to low 60s.

For LSU fans, this is the big travel away game for the year. There will easily be 15,000+ LSU fans at this game. That’s 1/4 of their capacity.

Ok fair enough. I’m traveling there so id rather see a night game with the stadium packed.
