FIFY

Against actual good teams, we got shut out at home by Bama and lost to a UF team that Les probably would have beaten. Some of yall are so blinded by hate that you can't have an ounce of rationality here. Les never was shut out by Bama at home, so maybe we win that 2-016 game where the defense held them to 10.

Cool...now do Dabo’s record without QBs that were 1st rd picks.

44-10 since 2011.
3 new years six bowls
1 playoff appearance
2 conference titles

that covers 4 different seasons since 2011 without a QB that was (or will be in case of Lawrence) drafted in first round.

Sooooo, you agree it was Miles’ offense that ran all over the terrible offenses on our schedule??

who elses offense would it have been?

So why the hell did you try to call me out for “defending Miles” when I said O rode his running game to big games over shitty teams??

quote:

Team was much better after Miles was let go

The schedule had nothing to do with that, eh?

quote:

do you think CLKM should still be our coach?

Nope. I said after 2015 if we didn’t make it to ATL in 2016 he should be fired.

and would last year have happened with him?

No way to know obviously.

Can we play that game and ask if last season wouldn’t have happened without Burrow?

Because you guys seem to think that’s a silly argument. So why ask another hypothetical that’s even less easy to know?

Our 2019 team could’ve won a Natty at Vanderbilt

Orgeron recruited a lot of those players (a number of them who were commited to go elsewhere at times), so you have to credit him there.

Also, a player like Justin Jefferson was only a 2-star and completely off the radar to people due to his academic issues, but Orgeron quietly kept a scholarship open for him if he was able to qualify and the guy ended up being a complete superstar WR. Other guys like CEH were unsure if LSU would still honor the scholarship offer when Orgeron took over and he not only wanted him, but I remember him talking up CEH more than a lot of better known players when the most people weren't excited about him due to his size or knew very little about him because he wasn't a mega-recruit as far as recruit ratings go.

Then why do so many get so bent out of shape when a thread talking about O’s record without Burrow?

Well the point is trying to determine if the success from last year is sustainable. That’s a valid concern and worth analyzing.

The analysis doesn’t bode well for O or the program under his watch.

Orgeron has beaten zero teams with winning records without Justin Jefferson. What does it mean?

Well if you cant give him credit for Burrow and last season, how can you blame all of this stuff on him.

You can't cherry pick what he is responsible for. That is just dumb. Win as a team, lose as a team should be the same logic.

ok, better question.

if you can heap price on him for last year, then why can't you lay complete blame for this epic shite show at his feet as well?

then throw all the excuses out the window.
