He wasn't responsible for finding him, and he absolutely was not responsible for developing him

8-0 in the NFL. Well inn tee last two years anyway. I know McCown lost to Carolina at the end of 17 I think. SO 8-1 in recent memory.

The whole argument was about who found JB and it was O's son not Busch. Like I was saying and thanks for proving me correct O asked Busch about JB...Busch didn't bring JB up to O. Telling O we have to get him isn't the same as Busch going to O and saying look this guy at OSU is transferring...O asked about him first.

And yall are saying O was dumb not to get the guy who knew the family to recruit him?

So you just can't read

Again:
quote:

Did LSU find Burrow, or did Burrow find LSU?

"You know, I think they found me," said Burrow, immediately pointing to the way Busch sold him to LSU head coach Ed Orgeron. "Coach Busch stood on the table for me with Coach 'O.' He was like, 'If we get this guy, we're going to win the national championship.'"

He just had to sell it to Orgeron. But Busch credits both Orgeron and LSU offensive coordinator Steve Ensminger for being open-minded about Burrow.

LF7 broke the rushing record against Ole Miss by running the toss dive (a play that is almost universally the most hated Les Miles play in the book).

and how did we do against bama with that CLM offense? You can't change offense mid season moron

Ed Ogeron can't control who he plays in the regular season. (Can only control what we control). He can only beat the teams that are on his schedule. That would be like criticizing Mike Tomlin this year because they were undefeated but only beat one team with a good QB.

Ed is
1-4 against Saban
1-2 against Mullen (soon to be 1-3)
1-2 against Jimbo.

3-8 against the 3 biggest coaching hurdles in our annual schedule.

all 3 wins came in the “lightning in a bottle year”.
meaning 0-8 (and a 24 point dog to become 0-9) in ‘16, ‘17, ‘18, ‘20 against those guys.

How'd we do in 2018 with basically all the weapons we had in 2019?

getting shut out was a magnificent display of coaching by E. His offense was rolling that night.

Scored the same number of points in a much less embarrassing loss than 2018. Also a much less embarrassing loss than 2020.

Why? That team was 100% Miles' team and didn't win any games Miles wouldn't have. In fact, I'd argue we lost a game we should have won in Florida.
