The biggest problem I have with all of this is that
1. The coach gave him the jersey without him earning it and
2. The coach hyped him up by saying no one could cover Giles in practice.
The coach was the one that hyped him up to no end and now he's crapping on the kid? That's some weak tea.

I definitely wasn't. I felt bad for the kid. He was hyped up to be some kind of savior that he wasn't. I don't doubt he did the best he could, but just couldn't hack it. Pretty pathetic that O would do this, but oh well.

I love the fact that we have the #18/#7 Jersey number tradition...but I think they need to keep it in-house and stop giving it so much public attention.
I just hope the "Giles Experiment" is over and done. The staff really forced that kid on the field. We have 6 WRs that are obviously better than him (Jefferson, Chase, Dillon, Marshall, Sullivan, Anderson). Theres no reason he should be in the rotation.

Good grief, Giles was the worst last year. Do we really want to go back and look at what all the posters had to say after the 100th fair catch? Or the 59 total yards reception last year? Lanard Fournette was 4 yards short of Giles in receiving yards. I mean if you dont want people talking noise, produce on the field.

Hopefully, and justifiably, this puts a fire under Giles and we actually see him play up to his capabilities.
