Did he really just imply that we have 3 losses because our defense hasn't gotten enough turnovers? God forbid our offense actually not be last in the SEC West. I hope that Aranda just laughed at him and walked away when Orgeron "talked to him" about it.

The key to Orgeron's head coaching is it's everyone else's fault but his. And don't you forget it.

Oh, I didn't realize that being in the plus on turnovers didn't help win games.. thanks for the information, #

I mean, if there's one thing our defense could do better over the last couple of seasons, it's force more turnovers. We are 111th in the nation this season.

I don't think that's a shot at Dave Aranda at all. It's just a statement.

If we could get back to the turnover margins we had in 2011 and 2012, we'd be golden.

One can argue that he deserves no blame ... if he does nothing.

if Ed O can stop mis-evaluating 12,13 Qb's like someone else who is on the LSU payroll did, that's when you win a lot of ballgames.

So, no blame when we lose, but all the praise when we win?

Sounds about right from an O supporter.

We are in the plus on turnovers. We are +3 I think. But, his comments imply that our problems are in creating turnovers. Our problems are, once again, offense. Yeah, being +12 would be great. but, not being the 88th ranked pass offense in the country would help more.

Would you mind telling me your opinions on O as the head coach of LSU?

He's proven he can keep a team from falling apart. He proved that as an interim coach and after the Troy loss.

He has yet to prove he can win big or compete for championships. Not a whole lot to opine other than that.

Dude, you are taking his words way out of context. The question was if a strong running game, ball control, and ball security are important when taking a team on the road. He said yes ball security is very important and so is getting takeaways. He continued, we are plus 3 in turnovers but he would like to get to +12 or 13 or so as that would give us a big advantage and we would really win some ballgames. Said that is a mindset and he has talked to Aranda about it. Because you know, coaches talk about stuff like that. You are just shite stirring for the people who hate O and/or didn't listen.

And I was banned for criticizing O, so I am no cheerleader.

LSU has forced 2 turnovers in their 3 losses this season.

I'm not saying our defense hasn't been great, but turnover margin as a whole is an important stat for any team. Maximizing possessions is obviously important.

Hopefully we can force more in the future.

We need a turnover chain.
