Well have to see how quickly he can return to form and if he is actually better than the guys currently playing. He's been out for a full year. That's a full year of not being able to even practice. Certainly, one would think that very likely stunted his growth, so to speak, as a player. Point being, let's not put too high of expectations on the kid just yet.
If nothing else though, it SHOULD help with depth. It probably hasn't been discussed too much, by maybe the most irreplaceable player on the team besides Burrow is Cushenberry. Now, you have options at LG if McGee isn't the answer come SEC play and you can hold Hines back as your backup Center if need be. Without Ingram you would have had to decide whether or not you wanted to risk your backup Center (Hines) at the guard spot

And secondly, it seems that at the time he was far from honest with the coaching staff about what was going on. Not saying he can't get back, but it's a much longer road, I believe.

From what I’ve heard head been at practice every time he could and has kept himself in great shape. He basically just needs to get used to hitting and should be good to go. He may be starting for the Florida game.

It’s a 5 day period not 2

In O’s press conference earlier this week, I’m pretty sure he said that they didn’t have official word on Ingram’s return, but that he has been going through the acclimation period and that he would be ready to play when cleared.
