Orgeron also addressed rumors that the hiring of safeties coach Bill Busch spelled trouble for current defensive-backs coach Corey Raymond, an assistant with a stellar coaching and recruiting record during his five years at LSU.

"Corey's a very good coach, but I wanted to give him some help," Orgeron said. "It's just an advantage to have a tenth coach, and that's an area we needed more help at." When asked point-blank if Raymond would remain on staff, Orgeron replied, "No question."

"It's Matt's offense" - Ed Orgeron

Later on...

"I'm the head coach, we do what I want to do." - Ed Orgeron

I ask you, what is bigger area in need of help? The defensive backfield or QB?

they have an OC, a passing game coordinator and hired two offensive analysts within the last week or so. I think the QB position is covered with the coaches and support staff. More coaches and analysts than QB's.

Are you confident that the people we have surrounding the offense will develop the QB position well and create a more efficient offense?

Our dbs h avent been our constant weakness. Why not get a 2nd O-line coach, a 2 or 3rd QB coach ...that's where we have failed in the past. Maybe a kick off specialist coach.

am I remembering this wrong... split the 'receivers' too? Inside and out?

Or... is Sullivan, in actuality, not a position coach but an offensive assistant?

No, we need help at HC. As in a new one.

Won't matter if the QB can't make passes and sustain drives. D will be on the field a lot

I don't believe anything Orgeron says. Ever. How can you trust someone who has broken his top three campaign promises? He's the definition of a politician.
