Man, Jay really believes in the squeeze play. Has run it twice tonight and scored the run from third both times.

West coast mixed with power bats. Puts lots of pressure on teams in different ways.

Not due to a lack of baseball talent but all the other things that come along with needing to be a college athlete

He edited. What did he say?

Doesn’t seem to have much faith that a certain late addition C will be on the team

First time to see the team tonight. Not a bad scrimmage. Have talked with several people this week. Good to see Berry with the HR as he’s struggled a little to start. I didn’t even recognize Money with the new body and haircut. No doubters HRs by Priester and Jobert too. As another poster mentioned, it’s up to Priester whether he makes the roster or not. I don’t see where Holt or Simon will contribute this year. Cranford and Safford are off to a good start. Does Gio and Beloso make the roster? A lot of answers to figure out this fall. I liked the middle of innings drill too. Lot of energy from the team tonight. Good night overall

What defensive drills were done during the scrimmage?

Bunt defense mostly. But between innings, they would roll out the pitching/fly ball machine and have the outfield and infield work on communication on shallow flies.

Where did he have Jobert on defense?

Thanks. It should be interesting to see how they get him in the lineup. He rakes.

I wonder why they aren't doing exit velo or the HR graphics anymore

So many untapped things they should be doing. It’s disappointing

Miami OH streams fall scrimmages. Their equipment managers set up the cameras.
If they can do it, we can do it. We could probably even get some aspiring PBP guys from the Manship School to call the games for the experience alone.

I can see both sides of this. Fans want it but why put out more video for opposing teams to view.
