I assume that the Trackman is not available since the pitch speed isn't shown on the scoreboard. They may not be sharing it with spectators.

I'm here, sitting on the 1st base line. They're going through BP right now.

Analytics are so overrated especially in college baseball
I could care less about the Trackman bs
Who cares?
I'm sure they are doing if they have invested in the technology and probably not releasing it
In the past all I ever heard PM talk about was the spin rate on curveballs, and it never really meant anything on game day

Damn. Hope it's not a big setback. He only recently started throwing competitively again in the Cape. I thought he may be a short relief option for this upcoming season.

To hear LSU will lose a good bat because there just isn’t enough spots makes me tingle. You telling me no more sub .200 hitters??? Thank god we FINALLY made the switch on a lazy coach.

They are only over rated if not understood and not used in proper context.

It is great watching JJ acually coaching the game.I was
at the Box today and saw coach very involved in pre-game
warmups. He was constantly coaching up players on the bases
and in the batters box.
I don`t remember PM ever be involved this way.

it’s up to Priester whether he makes the roster or not.

Can someone elaborate on this? Is he considering JUCO to pro ball rout? Hope he sticks with us.

Thompson will be fine
Playing on that turf in reg and supers is a lot different than what LSU plays most of their games on
Good thing is they can practice on uhigh turf field and if I was coach I would scrimmage on that surface
More and more teams are going to it cause it’s easier to maintain

As far as a lazy coach the problem was that pm didn’t specialize in hitting or pitching which always left them a coach short
Plus Cain had to do all the recruiting as well so he was always on the road even some during the season
