LSU will be 10-15 I would guess, the amount of starters and players LSU is set to lose will hurt them some. People who vote in these polls will look to see who we are losing and who is staying, the will hurt LSU in early season polls.

Look at the rankings for the past 2 years. Who is playing in a BCS Bowl this year?
Not LSU

i never expected 09 to be that great of a year, 2010 should be a year that LSU is very dangerous

schedule will set up well along with a mature secondary, better d-line, better o-line - hopefully better offensive philosophy

LSU will be in the top 10 if for no other reason that for the the major networks to have something to milk for ratings with the North Carolina game.

DO NOT MISS THE POINT: NationalChamps.net is proud to once again present our annual Early Bird College Football Breakdown (9th season). For those of you concerned with the rankings and the fact this #16 team is better than that #9 team, then YOU ARE MISSING THE POINT! Our presentation was created as nothing more than a rough guide for listing whether key players return or depart as evident in our depth chart formatting. So many of the selections are evidently interchangeable and will adjust continuously until next season arrives.

so i guess Boise State is going to the NC next year if they're ranked #2 Preseason
and Nebraska is #12 with an awful offense....wow these guys sure know what they're doing...

do you realize they're offense is ranked 6 spots ahead of LSU?

That whole list becomes "bogus" when you see Florida at #4...are they serious?

+1. I stand by my prediction that UF will lose a minimum of three games next season and that's the best cast scenario. If the young QB doesn't perform well(I think he will) that could turn into 4 or 5 easily.

That list is bogus. Most of the teams ranked ahead of LSU are awful and would get spanked by us.

Considering we aren't really losing much

We lose almost all of our already shitty offensive production, the frick are you smoking?

Then add in 3/4ths of our DL. 3 LBs. A safety and a CB.

Yeah not much at all.
