Creighton ace coming over.
6’3, 225lb. Rhp, just completed junior season.
93ip
73 hits
33 walks
115k’s
2.81 era
Looks like his fastball sits 91/94. Mixed in a curve, slider, and change. Slider 79-82. Curve 75-77. Changeup around 80

Just completed his 4th season, will be a COVID senior and won’t count against the 35 man roster but will count against the 40 man roster.

Nice. Let’s get a couple more pitchers and we will be sitting pretty with this amazing freshman class coming in.

Not getting drafted? I wonder why.

A prospects live article from late May had the slider at 85-89.

He may get drafted, he just might not get a number he wants.
For a fringe pitcher, one year isn’t a big deal because age isn’t a big deal for pitchers. His odds of making the majors doesn’t materially change if he spends another year in college, but he could have an awesome experience and guarantee himself a couple more years of baseball in his life.

He could be it just seems more likely that he wants one season on the big stage to improve stock

Are those spin rates good?
Posted on 6/11/22 at 5:14 pm to redfieldk717
I can say the fastball and curve spin rate is pretty good…if those are legit numbers
