Compared by stats, he wouldn't even be on a hypothetical 3rd team. Name recognition alone puts him on the list.

He’s honestly not that good. Starting for Bama is what got him on that list, not his ability. The Bama / LSU recruits like him, buggs, surtain, etc had a terrible night.

I for one am glad they took Moses, Smith and Surtain .. Surtain can’t cover man to man

Surtain actually didn’t have banner year. I know he is a freshman, but we have had freshmen make more of an impact with a lot less talent around them

Right and that was simply based on him being the "top rated" linebacker coming out of highschool and him going to Alabama but coming out of highschool he was billed as the next Lebron James of college football! He's not pure garbage but he's not what they said he was going to be...he wasnt a game changer but Devin White was/is and thats facts! He's more hype than talent.

He is a great athlete. He is an average football player. I knew this when he was 16.

Watched every game he played in HS until he defected to IMG. Physically gifted. Matured VERY early. Dad ran a great hype campaign. Always seemed very straight line and not very fluid. Shouldn’t even be mentioned in the same breath as Devin White. Or Jacob Phillips. Or, it appears, maybe even Patrick Queen.

Got the physical talent, but......

Looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane.

He’s never been a great LB, even in HS. Impressive in Combine events inshorts and tee shirt.

This felt like payback for all of the garbage Bama has done, and all of the recruits who spurned LSU at the last moment, just to rub it in.

It's not the same as LSU beating them, of course, but it was SUCH a beatdown... I can't help but feel some satisfaction out of it.

Buggs laid down tonight, along with his buddy Raekwon Davis.
