Y'all are also acting like the NFL is the only opportunity for a player to make money. The guy got a couple of years towards a degree while preparing for the pros. So now he has only 30 hours (according to most in this thread) if things don't work out.

If you would have told me before my senior year that I had the chance to make 100k+ my first year out and if it didn't work out then I'd have to pay for one year of school, then yes I'd take the money.

So now ya'll care about his potential student debt and not just mad because he isn't playing here anymore.

No shite. And what would the monthly payment on one year's tuition be, like 50 bucks a month? People are acting like he can't possibly be able to pay for one year of school.

Good luck, Ed. I hope the move works out for you.

The fact that this statement has 10+ downvotes says a lot about LSU fans smh

Unfortunately I fear this decision will not turn out well for Ed Alexander.

Chaulk one up for the NCAA and NFL leaches.

Wish Ed the best, but this is a huge mistake. He might go in the late 5th round. Always seems injury plagued, so the only thing I can think of is he is semi healthy and figures lets go. If he waited to next year, his draft stock would probably climb, but the problem is with ankle, knee, leg injuries. Sadly, i don't see him making it more than a year or two in the pros.

There's one or two head scratchers that leave early every year. Hopefully Ed is the only one.

Good luck to him.
