Spreads

Click on “Week 8” and then search LSU. They have Ole Miss favored by 1 ONE! point.

It’s maddening that our fans act like this isn’t a winnable game. Ole Miss hasn’t beaten anyone with a pulse yet besides Kentucky and that was a game they should have lost. We beat Mississippi State at home and they were bigger favorites than Ole Miss will be.

How about we see what we have this week against Sunbelt Billy before worrying about them? That line is going to change after this game.

Well you can bet on it now so shouldn’t change too much. If we beat Florida we may be favored against ole miss

Ole Miss has a great offense and a solid defense. We have zero offense and a decent defense. Lane will run circles around us.

The last 3 weeks have been kind of weird with Ole Miss as far as betting odds go. First they were only like 16-pt favorites playing Vandy, then they're only 14-pt favorites this week against AU and now futures line only has them 1-pt against LSU. Vegas seems to be losing faith in them.

Take OM and give the point. Kiffin will run circles around 3rd and 25 for 35 yards House.
Looks almost as sure of a bet as TN did.

So Ole Miss hasn’t beaten anyone other than Kentucky and that shouldn’t be a feather in their cap but the fact that we beat Mississippi State is?

Well Mississippi State is better than Kentucky and we didn’t almost lose to them…

Their QB is not nearly the player that Hooker is, I wouldn't count on that.

Not really. The Vegas "power ratings" generally drive the opening lines. I didn't look at them, but it likely OM's power rating number dropped a bit following the Vandy game. On the flip side, LSU's power rating is probably a bit higher than some might expect.

That said, if Florida and OM win this week the LSU line may creep up higher to something like -4 to -6 OM. So it you like OM in this game, get them now at -1. However, if you think LSU is going to win on Saturday and you think they will beat OM, lock in LSU now at +1. They may be giving points this time next week.

Unless Nuss plays, Kiffin will run circles around Dumbrock & Jayden. LSU won’t be able to keep up

It's winnable if our coaches get their heads out of their rear ends and make decisions that will benefit us instead of hurting us.
