Idiots couldn't even wait after the first couple of replies to turn this thread into a shite show about religion. Geez man, if that guy feels that way about God and his tests, let him. No need for people to bash him with their "superior" beliefs and completely derail the thread.

Sorry, but the teachers have no control over who fails. The school board will socially promote failing students so their district looks good to the public. Public education is nothing but a horse and pony show.

9/11, school shootings, cancer, all just tests from an all loving, all powerful being.
If everything was perfect on Earth, why would we need Him? Also, he gave us free will so we can choose to love him rather than essentially be enslaved to Stockholm Syndrome. He wants a meaningful relationship, as do we.
Free will also gives evil people the ability to carry out evil acts. 2 of the 3 terrible things you mentioned are/were done by people.

I get into a lot of problems when I draw out 1 verse from the bible and try to make absolute truth out of it. You have to take the verse and hold it over the context of the whole bible. The bible says, God is for us, not against us. This is the context you should hold over all the bible. Look at Jesus' life, he didn't go around giving sufferings out, he only healed folks all the time.

I think the earlier point is that yours is a belief of a relatively narrow cult. It’s not an absolute truth - at least not provably so.
