False, Donte will come up and hit you. He needs some coaching on his technique, he'll lose the ball in the air, and has stone hands. But he isn't soft

While I completely agree that he will stick his nose in on the play, I just want to see him wrap up more. So many guys want to go for that big hit that dislodges is the ball.

He’s just small

It’s hard to bring someone down running in stride when they weight 50 pounds more than you.

If they measured ability to talk shite and not back it up in the combine Donte would break that record.

Coming up and diving at a RB’s legs doesn’t mean anything. When a 215 pound WR can throw him off into the sideline, he’s not physical enough.

LINK Just a link of Donte tackling a 6'1 230 RB in the open field. But please continue explaining how he isn't physical

I think he's soft. Dude wasn't about tackling anyone. A lot of times you wouldn't see it because he was a master at the "angle to arrive late" technique aka make it look like you tried.
Visiting tRant always makes me think of the excerpt from Teddy R's Citizenship in a Republic.
It disgusts me at times.

To be that fast and still constantly get burnt for backbreaking TDs is truly incredible.

He relied so much on his speed to make up for poor technique that he usually was caught out of position.

That play against Florida was incredible. So much bad all over the place. Receiver would have more difficulty with a gnat! I laugh now but not when it happened. Just grab his jersey and pull him out of bounds.

Why do our "fans" feel the need to shite on our players so much? in every combine thread made, within the first few post, someone starts shitting on them.

Does it make y'all feel better about your shitty lives?

Donte was ranked as one of the best CB's in the SEC this year and I think he finished #1 on PFF. Yet people still act like he was one of the worst.
