go ahead and do it

Midwestern State. Any of y’all ever heard of Midwestern State? Yea, me neither. They are a div 2 school (below FCS) that Northwestern State just lost to by over 3 touchdowns.

To put what losing to Northwestern State would be into perspective, do y’all remember this team called Tennessee? They wore this really bright orange color? Anyway, they are gone now. They are gone because they lost to Georgia State. Georgia State is an FBS team and that was still the 3rd worst loss by an FBS school ever statistically by FPI win percentage.

Northwestern State is FCS, and just got destroyed by an average div 2 school. It would be easily the worst loss in the FPI ever, at 99.99999%, for any program.

We could throw out Gordon’s son at QB and still score like 30. Obviously you always want to focus on the game at hand, but people saying this is a trap game or we are on upset watch

What is it, 56? If Burrow plays how he’s been playing we might almost cover that in the first half. This team is way worse than Georgia Southern.

More importantly, will anybody bet the money line on LSU? Lay $150,000 to win $100. Easy money.

Tidy little payday for NW St. And a game their players will remember as long as they live.

A&M played them last year (59-7); Baylor in '16 (55-7), and Miss St in '15 (62-13)

Big time high school programs could beat NW St. I think.

This will be a bloodbath and I can't wait to see some of our young guys get a lot of reps after Burrow pads his stats.

I seriously just pray that no Demon players leave the field in a body bag.

Seriously.

So guy said it, then three pages followed of how it's impossible for NSU to win. Guy got downvoted 193 to 1, which that one upvote was likely the OP.

It is an interesting dynamic I’m not used to at LSU. Usually in these kinds of situations you would want to get Brennan and maybe even Parrish as many snaps as possible, but with Burrow now in Heisman contention, there is a certain amount of stat padding that will happen in games like this. It’s just weird thinking we are padding our QB’s stats for the heisman. Not something I thought I would ever think about LSU.

.......games like this scare me. Coming off a brutal game and then playing a "perceived" weaker team.

Never take an opposing football team for granted.

The Vandy game could be our overlooked game, looking on to UF. We will win but might look less than stellar
