And we may not anytime soon with a 9 game conference schedule.

That’s ok.

As long as after three years our offense doesn’t look charmin soft and if it does, the new coach has the smarts and balls to change things.

Kelly had nothing but excuses for our poor play and lack of growth. Dude was cashing checks and nothing more.

You can’t get run off your own field in a should-be contending year against your conference rival.

It’s one thing to lose. It’s quite another to witness what we did Saturday night. That was a “you don’t belong on this stage” moment.

LSU should make a 12 team playoff damn near every year. They have to find a coach who can do more with less. Your team isn’t going to have all of the pieces to win a title every year, but we should be in the conversation every year.

While I agree with a lot of what you have typed, you are missing why BK was fired.

BK was fired bc this is year 4 and we are regressing not only in season but year over year. We went all in on this year.

I've been watching LSU football for a long time (late 90s) that loss vs Texas AM in tiger stadium is one of the most embarassing losses I've ever witnessed.

Lastly, the outlook for next year is bleak. It's a total rebuild and we have no clue who will be the QB.

We dont have to go 10-2 yearly.

I just dont want to be blown out by peer programs. If we lose a few close games, so be it. But blow outs like BAMA last year, TAMU this year. Looking completely unprepared in season openers. Zero accountability. Blaming the fans, the media…

I think we can handle losses, but we can’t handle what looks like a total train wreck and a coach gaslighting us all.

Making the playoffs 2 out of 3 years is not a reasonable expectation! More like 1/4!

We probably are all spoiled. In my judgement given the current climate, one or maybe 2 playoff appearances per recruiting class is going to be solid !
