There wasn’t a whole lot of love from the SEC when LSU was declining. It’s all about LSU. Rest of them can lose all the bowl games for all I care.

I hate them all, but I want them all to win. Makes our historic season that much more unbelievable AND it makes it hard to justify leaving a 1 loss SEC team out next year...

I think SEC pride went completely down the drain after the 2006 Auburn game. The no call pass interference game. To me, that’s when I noticed most LSU fans no longer cheer for sec teams in bowl games.

People were trying to chant “SEC SEC SEC...” in the Mercedes-Benz Stadium. A guy next to me who was chanting stopped and asked me why I won’t do it. I told him, “Because frick the SEC. This is about LSU.”

I grew up in SEC country, shook the hand of Bear Byrant when I was about 8 years of age. I personally love the SEC and LSU football. It’s in my blood and heart.

that's me
I take comfort in the fact that in any bowl or playoff game, our team has been tested in on the field - I want to know that teams we have played can beat the sox off any team from any other conference out there.
The people on the teams are the same - I want the people we have to play to be better than any other conference - Otherwise we become like Oklahoma - strutting thru the season beating up on juveniles and get our butts whipped when playing the big boys.

I dislike but respect Alabama and Ole Piss. I actually almost like MSST and Auburn except when they're lined up against LSU. I absolutely despise Arkansas and Florida and aTm. But I have far greater love for all of those teams than I ever will for OU.

We get a share of the money they get for winning those games. So why would we root against LSU getting money?
