The DLine is going to be so fricked in 2020. So fricked.

Miles had a shitty year in '08 after winning a natty so Orgeron gets a pass in '20. '21 though we stacked SEC fricked.

Honestly no one on this board knows what’s going on! Let the coaches handle it.

Don't these guys see how injuries, grades, speed at picking up the playbook, natural instincts on the field, etc. can open up opportunities? Even if one new recruit seems to have an inside track, there are so many variables that lead to change. Perception ISN'T Reality.

Well with the NCAA’s precedent they’ve set on approving waivers very liberally, I’m not all too surprised. I would expect to see more and more of this nation-wide.

Every scholarship is on a year to year basis. No reason for players not to be able to transfer out and play immediately.
If coaches can leave a team and coach the next year somewhere else, then players should be allowed to do the same.

This is a short-sighted point of view that continues to be repeated every time this type of discussion comes up. Regardless, I said nothing about what players should be allowed to do. I said it’s sad that players this young feel entitled to playing time and then transfer when that doesn’t happen immediately. I don’t care if they can or can’t transfer. The problem is they’re choosing to transfer for entitled reasons. They don’t want to earn things but would rather have things given to them.

WTF IS GOING ON These guys were going to be contributors this season and fight for starting jobs in 2020. Makes no fricking sense on the surface. Something else going on here?

I don’t know. We live in an age of instant gratification. Some Guys don’t want to work there way up and earn it anymore. Sometimes guys can’t get over the fact that although they were good in high school, everyone’s good in college and you have work even harder to improve and earn that top spot.

I think some of this is for publicity because these guys haven't been heard of since they arrived on campus. Like Cotton, I wouldn't be surprised if Livingston pulls his name out eventually. It's free pub and they also send a message to the coaches that they might leave if they don't get what they want. Personally, if they don't want to be at LSU, let them walk!

Only if O wins a natty in ‘19. In that case, I’d agree.

They have a novice position coach who is named Meatball. Maybe that’s not awe inspiring to these young men.

it doesn't make strategical sense to process freshman at a thin/critical position because they still have time to improve. The upperclassmen that wont contribute should be the first to get cut.

Again, these coaches be feelin entitled to all them millions and if opportunity comes for more cheddar, they split like wood.

This is exacly the same sizzituation. Playas feelin they can get more cheddar somewheres else.

I don’t have a problem with it. It’s up to these coaches to earn them millions and convince them to stay.

I don’t see you calling out Joe Burrow for transferin.

The most cheddar as you put it isn’t going to go get forced into early playing time at a middle teir school. These kids aren’t transferring to Clemson or Bama.

It’s significant playin time, dog. The NFL don’t care what college you play at. If you good, you good and they will take you.

Again, why is no one sayin this shite bout Joe Burrow.

In a perfect world, these dudes wouldn’t be transferrin. But this ain’t no perfect world. These kids want to be starters. They was most likely starters in high school. Of course they want to (and think they should be) starters in college too. This ain’t no new phenomenon. Playas been thinking they the best since forever.

Most of these guys probably know they ain’t going first round in the NFL. But maybe they transfer to a lesser college and start and maybe they go 6th round. It’s better than being a career college backup and going undrafted.

I’m jus sayin. You can’t be faultin these kids for wantin to play more.
