Great first half. We came out a little slow in the 2nd half and allowed them to cut the lead to single digits. We won convincingly but I'm not sure we dominated.

It seems as if we can play with anyone in a man2man, but a good defense playing zone challenges us.

What game were YOU watching. We got up 34-13 then played like dogshit most of the rest of the game.

I’m certainly not pissed I think everyone who thinks we didn’t play well in the second half actually watched the game and knows bb. The knock on this team is slow starts and last night is the first game I can remember not getting down 7-10 points in a while.

My thoughts, too. Our problem is consistency. I personally don't believe we "play down" to competition. I think we just aren't consistent. Will Wade says the same thing.

That said, I'm enjoying the hell out of this ride.

I was going to say the same thing. It seems like when we're up against zone we try to shoot over it instead of penetrate. Hence some of the dumb 3-point shots in the 2nd half. Not having Tre in the game makes that situation worse because he's our best guy at driving the basket.

Disclaimer: I'm not really a basketball x's & o's guy so that might all be complete bullshite.

That wasn't a dominating win. We were up 21 in the first half.

It was 9 or 10 with about 2 mins to go, and A&M was a 3 pt shot away from making us VERY uncomfortable at the end.

We need to win a couple more by double digits to win improve our net ranking. No excuses for Vandy game not to dominate. A top 8 ranking there and a sec title would ensure a 2 seed

the secret is in "ball movement"-w little of no dribbling ...BTW your observation of the 3s is why I noticed as well.

I was going to mention that as well. Maybe I'm more of an x's & o's guy than I think I am.

It would be fun to see a 25 point blowout before the season ends.

Completely overblown.

LSU led by double digits for 19:20 of the second half.

In a game where the losing team only scored 55, 10 points is a huge lead. Yes, they coasted, but they still had a very comfortable victory. From about 5 minutes left in the first half on, there was no doubt LSU would win.

We won, but we have a long way to go to be an elite team. I love this team, but it lacks that killer instinct to dominate team for four quarters and I think that is a due to the youth on the team! This game shouldn't have even been close in the second half, but once again we let them back in the game. In the NCAAs, allowing teams to hang around is a recipe for disaster. This team has a load of potential, but it has to improve and put away lesser teams instead of allowing them to linger!

The first 17 minutes of last night's game was a complete beatdown
