Holy hell am I excited for Pelini to come back. I love the aggressive defense. He’ll bring back the attitude to this defense.

We’re gonna roll again baws.

I was there, I remember. When Borne came over the PA and said Stanford beat USC that was possibly the loudest sustained cheering I’ve ever heard. We went nuts for like five minutes.

ETA: LSU wins this one.

Eta2: Keiland’s calves are still massive.

“frick you Tebow” is very very audible on the CBS game.

Great game. Legendary atmosphere. But that wasn't a stellar defensive performance.

Right after the Borne USC loss announcement, we gave up a TD to UF.

The heroes of that game was Hester and the 8 minute last drive possession.

To be fair, that was a really good Florida offense. Overall the defense wasn’t that great in 2007. Offense carried the team.

2007 was the best offense in LSU history up to that point. The defense was talented and started the year great but injuries killed them. They struggled in the 2nd half of the season.

The Florida game was a weird one. Florida had their way with LSU for the first 3 quarters and a fluke Tebow INT off the ear hole of a receiver turned the game around.

Defense started off strong but struggled in games against Bama, KY, Auburn, Ark. Bama and AU were bad offenses but LSU had to score late to beat both.

We finished like 17th in total D for '07.

As others have noted, our D performance faded as '07 progressed.

Perhaps the one and only thing that concerns some of us with Pelini is we saw his/our D get stumped by zone reads, wildcats, etc that so many teams employ now.

ETA: we finished #3 in total D and #17 in scoring D.

Nope. Went to both. While 2003 Georgia was super loud, and great!, no LSU game was louder than 2007 Florida. That Florida game was unbelievably deafening & for long, sustained times. And.... like others said, when that USC score was announced, it was insane.
