What an idiotic statement.

The screen against AU was sick, he dipped his shoulder to the inside and then blew past their DB like he had flippers on. That was some serious speed there and he wasn't just running away.

Doesn't matter what we think (but it does) for the coaches's jobs are on the line for their decisions and they will make the best ones (remember they won the BCS.) I've been bad-mouthed for sharing toughts about KW ,)who I think is talented), because I am not seeing the "star" alot of you say he is. Look, the coaches seem to be unhappy with his performance and all I know is that I don't want an LSU Tiger on the field who will not excell and meet the coaches expectations. More scrimmages and more chances to shine, but don't be surprised if he is #4 TB.

Not many third string backs go in the first three rounds of the NFL draft.

Do you remember the outcries last year when the coaches were trying to sort thru the running backs and Hester came out on top. Lets not have that again this year. Trust the coaches like we should have last year.

D'oh I forgot that some player's awesome can't actually be expressed on the field, but it is nonetheless an undeniable fact that they posses it.

I just wish every Keiland Williams thread didn't have to turn into a Jacob Hester/coaching staff bash fest. It's the same thing here with the KW will be drafted higher stuff. Why does everything have to turn into an either/or battle? The RB rotation we had last year brought us a national championship. Period. It worked.

Now, would I like to see a talented guy like KW emerge to bring us a helluva ground game? You bet. But there's apparently some underlying reason that he hasn't yet earned the coaching staff's trust. I, like most LSU fans, and the staff want to see him excel and do what it takes to earn that trust. In the meantime, we have 2 other RBs that are doing the right things to get on the field as well. From the comments thus far by the coaching staff, those 2 may be ahead of KW at this point. Or, we may be reading them all wrong. Who knows? Hopefully they will all be able to contribute, and the most important thing is winning games, not who gets the carries.

Although true, that's not the type of awesome RM possesses.

It never ceases to amaze me that some idiots on this board suggest, and indeed actually believe, that the coaches are not as good a judge of talent as they are. Wow.

Why? Most people think it's valid. This is not a normal ranter statement.

I know it blows me awawy as well. How many times have all of yall seen these players since maybe the spring game. The coaches see them everyday at practice, and yall have the audacity to claim that you know who the more talented back is or the back that makes the fewest mistakes, give me a break. Just trust the coaching staff.

And yet, if everyone simply sat back and trusted the coaching staff, we wouldn't have much to talk about.

well the whole KW and the stable of running back threads just keep beating a dead horse. We have 4 true running backs that are extremely talented the coaches will decide on the best. The true questions about this team are QB,CB, and possibly LB with beckwith hurt and no one else that is really proven. Also the return game no one has really been a decent returner since skyler left.

That is a valid criticism of the staff. I hope the habit of not going with the hot hand is corrected. That Kentucky loss was hard to stomach because we just let that one go; we were just beatin by Arkansas.
