I just looked at their previous 3 opponents who none can come close to LSUs' caliber of talent. They can't run the ball, ranked 107th in the rushing game. The offensive line is a Big East average, but some people still think this is going to be an upset or close game. Where do they get their confidence from?

game still has to be played and anything can happen. else all games would be simulated by espn so the players could sit around sitting safe and pretty

and we did play you all last year. only part of the coaching staff which has changed is the offense. our defense staff/coaches are the same as last year. so yes we do know what's coming..trick is can we stop it

I think it's cute. It's like a kid being all giddy on Christmas morning expecting that drum set that just isn't coming.

Only problem with that is LSU has a new OC and new QB coach this year. This offence is a little different.

They get their confidence from their desire to win. LSU hasn't looked this good in a while but most fans were very confident even against a dominant team. That's what is fun about college football......diehard fans believe in their team overcoming odds. It happens all year long.

LSU is clearly the better team on paper but WVU has every right to think they can win at home with a talented team.

Yeah I've seen teams that think just because they lose a few players they'll be OK, but it turned out to be a catastrophe for them. Just hope because you struggled with a weak Maryland team it doesn't mean your prepared for a very physical defense.

I think the game will be close at half, but lsu makes their separation in the 2nd half. WVU is pumped for this game. Probably their biggest game in years minus their game against Pitt in 2007

Yes and I think the NASA satellite returning to earth is going to strike your mobile home. That doesn't mean it will happen.

Any smart person knows LSU wins this game on paper. At a neutral site and especially in Tiger Stadium, this game wouldn't be in question.
But playing on their field with emotions flying as high as they are, a smart person also knows that this game will be tough. They are treating this game as if it were the Super Bowl.
If we struggle to take the crowd out of the game and we don't capitalize on our opportunities, then we will be leaving the door wide open for WV to win this game.
We have to play our physical game we are used to and win the line of scrimmage on both offense and defense, and close the door shut early.

Thanks - not an alter

Granted, running off guard or tackle is not there forte - WV running game is quick passes to the backs.
