It is for sure and at first I was a believer. We made a sec championship his first season and had a heisman trophy his second.
I think Kelly just doesn’t fit in with the SEC culture. It’s a meat grinder and you cannot take weeks off. This isn’t ND where you play 1-2 teams a year. Every single team can win in the SEC.

I don't think Kiffin's been shy behind closed doors about wanting the LSU job but I don't think any overly brash and outspoken troll type is likely to get a job here under Woodward. He wants no-nonsense guys.

I don't think Kelly will be fired after this season. But it would be fun to watch the Rant's collective in ability to understand the marketplace combined with concept of supply and demand.
The Rant would DEMAND a big name on a short term contract with a strictly merit based pay-scale....as if any in high demand coach, or his agent, would agree to such a ridiculously stupid deal.

I'm not sure, but most of the time when Pate is cryptic, he actually does know something.

Some LSU fans don’t have a clue.They think everything is cut and dried and you snap your fingers and a great coach comes running.They don’t know who has the upper hand.Then they will bitch about having to pay buyouts and how stupid the AD is.YOU WANT A WINNING COACH YOU PAY THE PRICE WHETHER WE LIKE IT OR NOT!!!! I don’t think he will be. Maybe Kelly has a Saban realization and sees his passion for this version of college football is gone and it’s time to step away….but tough to do that with so many millions still owed to you.
