Late night sports talk on WWL, mike scarbough from tiger rag, and I've read multiple articles about the headscratching hire. No I don't have links but you are naive if you think this is the only place that critizes the hire.

But who cares? Most people in the media are complete dumbasses. I’ve seen people in the media think it wasn’t a bad hire..doesn’t mean they are right or that their opinion is worth anymore than mine or yours. Everyone has an agenda and bias. Fact of the matter is no one knows how successful O can be st LSU just like nobody knows how successful Jimbo would’ve been here.

The whole argument that he promised he would hire the best coordinators and that losing Canada proves that he was lying is bullshite also...not everyone thought Canada was the best and we don’t even know who his replacement will be.

why wont you comment on troy being more talented than lsu?

you dont want to get laughed out the thread like last time?

or tell us again how miles hired 1 good coordinator in 11 years.

its clear youre ok with lsu's program looking bad as long as you like the coach.

They were. They destroyed both offensive and defensive lines. They had a guy run for over 190 yards. We had a lot of talented people out at the time

Yeah, you have no room to talk here

I'm neutral on the coach, but the program is still in good shape

its proves he doesnt know what a good coordinator is or that he doesnt vett his choices. its either of those. take a guess in the last decade how many 1st year coaches of a p5 program parted ways , on bad terms, less than 12 months from hand picking them. ZERO. it doesnt happen.

its has now because we hired a coacg that isnt qualified to run a defense, let alone a program but youre so marries to the statement that O is a better coach than miles that youll excuse anything.

Like I said, it was a panic move. He knows he needs better production on offense and more wins or his arse is toast

the coach you claim i liked had the most accomplished tenure in lsu history.

your coach isnt qualified to run Vandy's defense.

only someone that doesnt know shite about football would claim troy is more talented than lsu.
our 2nd team dbs have more nfl players than troy's entire roster.
good god.

At some point, we as LSU fans have to support who we have. We just fired the BEST coach in LSU history. The truth of the matter, Jimbo nor Tom wanted to come to LSU. Why, that's a whole different Conversation. The end result is they chose to go else where. Coach O chose the splash hire instead of the right hire. He has complete trust in Ensminger and that should be enough.Once he promotes Ensminger, he will either help him keep his job or get both of them fired. Lastly, when the report about O and Canada came out, it was after we scored 7 points against Miss. St.

Coach a

one of the most accomplished tenures in sec history

coach b

has the worst tenure ever at a program full of shite tenures
the zenith of his head coaching career is beating a 4 loss program

pathetic

maybe of O had ever proven he could run a successful side of the ball let alone a successful program that would be enough. we all kmow what happens when es orgeron makes long term decisions at a program.

His program at LSU is no different than Miles

Miles was mentally ill or suffered a brain injury. It was time for him to go

I'm not saying I have trust in O or Ensminger, but once he hires him, it will be sank or swim. I personally don't blame O, I blame Alleva for not doing his due diligence and hiring the right person. It seems it was Fisher , Tom or bust!! When you have a top ten program who ranks top 5 in profit each year, there should be a plan A, B, C,D,E and F.

Idk why you don't like ed orgeron, but you're going to be very miserable. Even if when we are successful under O, you will be bitter bc you just don't like him personally for some reason. Just be an LSU fan dude, shite. Pull for the tigers. Orgeron is our coach, had a 9-4 season this year that could have been better, but could have been worse as well. Give the man a chance, 9-4 is as good as it gets at some schools. We did that with serious question marks at both lines and at qb. Not many teams could pull that off, in the sec west no less. Just chill out and if orgeron isn't the guy, then it will happen, but there is no reason not to be supportive of this team and be positive going into next season right now. We will close out recruiting very well, we will have alot of talent per usual, and we will have a different offense with a different qb next season, whom has shown he has a live arm in games this year. We have alot to be excited about. I don't get some of you.

9-4 in your first year as a head coach isn't bad at all when we should have won 2 more games, including nd in the bowl. O is only going to get better. He knows 9-4 isn't going to cut it here. Let him have his fricking shot.
