Are you serious? Exactly how much time do you think he needs?
I have tried to remain positive for the most part but after that showing against Tech, forget positive. We need more discipline all the way around. ABSOLUTELY no reason why people still don't know where to line up at this point in the season. ABSOLUTELY no reason why we would throw 3 straight passes more than once in the game, especially given the fact our running game seemed to be clicking as well as we could ever hope for, along with the fact we were playing with our backup QB.
Amazing - it really was amazing how horrific we looked during the game.

For a NOW generation geek, I am very impressed. Can you do that while talking and walking too.
Yeah... since I just started watching LSU football a day after they won the championship in 2003... right. Idiot.
I'm 22, not 10.

Miles is not going to Michigan -- Harbaugh will ( another MI alum) - Did you see his team dismantle Oregon and USC 2 weeks in a row. Crowton is the problem and will be gone IMO.

I'll call and ask. I think he's eating supper right now.

Some of you guys are funny. Crowton was the "Wizard" just a couple of seasons ago. Of course, he had better players then too.
Personally, I think the more interesting question is line play. LSU is not dominating the line as much as in times past. It isn't awful by any means but it is not dominating up front either. No RB, no matter how talented, is going to gain a lot of yards without holes.

Who's our back-up QB? Lee is not suitable for the position. I really thought he would be better.. but he was awful bad last night. We would do much better with Sheppard in my opinion. The run QB option was not even a concern for Tech.

If not, why?
No,
Because he knows Crowton was the single biggest factor in the freaking National Championship just a year and a half ago.

This was an excuse back in September, not now.

How come I never hear Crowton's name for any HC jobs?
Ya never know. The guy may get a call from say..........some Big 12 school or something or a struggling Pac 10 school.

He does if he's smart.

crowton was a hc and didn't do very well and must not have impressed anybody because hes not getting calls or being mentioned. if we keep crowton it will cost us recruits on the offensive side. would you come to play for crowton with the way we've looked. he should be replaced. last years defense looks like this years offense.

foshizzle's right.
We can't control the line of scrimmage. That negates a lot of the firepower our talented skill players have. If we can't get this corrected, it won't matter in the championship scheme of things who's under center, in the backfield, or in the play booth calling plays. We need an O-line that can move people.

MY only issue with this thread is the bit about Miles handcuffing Crowton.
PLEASE!!!!!!!
I beg Miles to meddle in the offense!!! All that 4 wide crap...thats Crowton people. Option...Crowton. Passing designed with 7 step drops and NO check downs...CROWTON.
I think Miles has meddled less and less every year Crowton has been here. WHen Miles "meddled"...we ran the ball better...did more play action...had more of an identity...made less mistakes...you know...HAD A BETTER OFFENSE!!!!!
So PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY....PLEASE MEDDLE WITH THE OFFENSE LES!!!!!!!

I do we have too many weapons to struggle as an offensive unit and if he doesn't get rid of him we will start to lose out on some of the Big fish

That isn't his MO, he starts off with a bang and then slowly disappoints........he will be a genius next year as an oc somewhere else and peeps here will wonder why did we let him go. Don't wonder, you will know why two or three years later! Cut the cord and don't ever look back.

We could have won without crowton. His two year stretch is over, time for him to look like a genius somewhere else. I knew this day would come and I am glad for it. I was so happy when Belotti showed him the door (respectfully to save face) only to cry when I heard where he was headed. I have watched this guy for 5 years now and this is what he does.

It's called being predictable. Can you not tell what play is being called when we line up by our formation? Granted, there are occasional exceptions, but most SEC Defensive coordinators get paid to stop other offenses. It hasn't been too tough to handle ours lately.

Fireworks? Time is up!

I love how people who have no idea what they're talking about love to come here and make fun of how upset we are over Crowton's terrible coaching. We're just not smart enough to understand how terrible LSU's offensive line is, I guess. We're all so stupid that we've never even considered that the offensive line not "being dominant" might be the problem.
Some people would defend even Tepper...

Absolutely, 100% on the money. If Les were actually meddling, don't you think he would have continued running Keiland Saturday night, rather than following a big run by emptying the backfield and throwing the ball.
