He better fricking get fired after this year. This is the absolute worst lsu basketball team that I have ever seen in my lifetime and I'm sure nobody will disagree with that. We are fricking horrible. We will not win another game this year and I would bet on that shite. Johnny jones has lost this program and what the frick has he ever done that makes anybody believe that he will turn it around next year? He sucks badly and our team is a reflection of their coach.

fire him now. nothing you wrote says, keep him 5 more minutes.

this part is some serious commentary:

They are just a reflection of our front office clown show. Why fire him this year when he has been just as bad at the end of every season?

The best coach in college football history built his team specifically to beat Miles and LSU.

No he didn't. Saban is process guy. Miles never entered into his decision to do anything.

Miles might have grown stale here after more than a decade of success, but he was a great coach.

It's up for debate whether Miles was a great coach. He had two outstanding seasons at LSU: 2007 (marred by head scratching losses to two inferior teams) and 2011. He squandered a great opportunity with a very talented 2006 team.

Jones deserves to get canned. He got his shot at his Alma Mater because of the influential people but it hasn't worked out. Now Alleva must convince someone that LSU is not a graveyard for hoops coaches. I give it a 50:50 chance at finding someone who can rescue the hoops program in the same way that Saban did in 2000 for football.

Miles was very hard headed for not changing QB's during the National Championship game against Bama. He will forever be remembered for that AS MUCH as winning the 2007 National Championship.
I agree with this and I think deservedly so.

Yes. I'm hearing that it's already a done deal. He will be let go at the end of the season

Good thing you started this thread. I thought it was going to go unnoticed.

MAYBE. He could lose his job BEFORE the season ends, if they keep LOSING.

Agreed. Jones needs to go, because there is a 100% chance of continued failure in basketball if he's kept. 50/50 odds of getting someone who can make the program better are way better than 0%. We've gotta play the lottery to have a chance.

You're giving Miles waaaay too much credit for Saban to even be thinking of Miles.

Right. Because it makes no sense at all for Saban to even think about what was the strongest or at worst 2nd strongest team in his division.
