I fear UF is going to drag this out long enough to the point the game can't be moved. It'll either get played on Saturday or delayed a month.
Never mind
I was talking about something else.
LSU and UF cannot reschedule.

Worst case scenario is Florida drags this out and it becomes a night game in the swamp..........

Even if we play there, that field is gonna be FUUUUUCKed up!

U do realize that if a state of emergency is in effect and people from surrounding cities are evacuated playing a game there, actually scratch that. Being able to enter Florida in general would just be a huge mess. I think worst case scenario this game turns out to be a night game in the swamp. Smartest decision would be play this in BR and avoid one hell of a mess getting everything organized to play in 30-40 mph winds and arse sh*t weather

I highly doubt UF wants this to turn into a running game and battle of field position

No way...Gainesville will probably see 60-70 mph winds, maybe more. Place will be a disaster...no power for days/week. (Unless the west side of the eye wall/west disappears.

Rain will probably be done by Friday evening
But the Tigers have to get to Gainsville and if a hurricane is off the coast on Friday they are not going to Florida on Friday.

Hearing Sunday in Gainsville.

I don't believe this will happen. If they can't play it on Saturday because of destruction, they can't play it on Sunday either. They can't fix everything in 1 day. It will be played at LSU,a neutral site, or posponed.

No way we play Sunday, that's just silly.

i really don't get what the Florida officials are waiting on to change venues

I don't either. Trying to keep a football game when a hurricane is bearing in on your state?
Posted on 10/4/16 at 8:21 pm to Chadwick
It can't be postponed. Florida has a game on our bye week and thank god for that

They are holding out as long as possible. Don't really blame them for not wanting to lose a home game.
They need to make a decision tho

Yeah this thing is hitting florida and it will soak florida all day Thursday and Friday. I just hope it doesn't hit my house. Move this game to BR. Probably will happen tomorrow when they make the call
