Both got used appropriatly yesterday. Shows the coaching staff knows how to use both in situations where both can play to there strengths. Hopefully the JJ bashers give it a rest now.

i would like to see them let Lee finish drives when he makes amazing throws to get the ball down inside the 20 ... or in situations like when Wing got the TD called back ... I think you need to put your starter in at that point and let him make a statement ... that's just me ... and probably why i am talking about coaching and not doing the actual coaching haha

And yes, I was happy with the game plan outside of the 3rd quarter which was

it's about the team and not the individual. JJ is extra tough to defend near the goal line.

It will be a topic all year. Get over it and enjoy the ride.

That is a crock of crap. I guarantee Lee has finished off more drives in the red zone with tds this season so far then JJ did maybe all of last year combined.

yes, he is ... i am just referring to when JJ fail to get a first down ... then Lee comes in on 3rd and long ... converts and the ball is on the 17, 18 yard line and then you put JJ back in and run the same passing plays that would be run if Lee was in the game ... to me ... it even seemed to affect the continuity with the offensive line and the running game as well ... also with all of the dropped balls the receivers have had this year (not so much in this game) it would be nice to give the main QB, whoever that is as many reps in the game as possible ... how many drops did we have against Kentucky? 7? just my opinion and i could be over analyzing

Jefferson should be known as the Red Zone quarterback.

ESPN Quote...LEE played another mistake free game as LSU rolled. Hopefully this will end the Jordan Jefferson chatter. Through 6 games, Lee has been far superior to Jefferson at this same point last season. More importantly, LSU has looked much better. While both teams started 6-0, last year's LSU team already had 4 wins by one score of fewer at this same point while averaging nearly 13 points per game fewer than this year's edition.

It affects the continuity of the play...and make no mistake, it also affects the confidence level which a QB thinks he has from his coaches.
