I think that we'll be talented once again, but if we were gonna win one any time soon I think it would've had to have been this year. Kelvin, Peterson, and Nevis are impact players on defense and, while I'm sure their replacements will be solid, they will be sorely missed.

The only way to offest our losses on defense will be to get a lot better on offense

I feel our defense is in good hands with the Chief but I think Crowton should be let go at the end of the season.

I think if we get rid of Crowton, bring in Mettenberger and hold our top ranked recruiting class, we win it all in 2011. Neither of our current QB's or the OC can lead us to the BCS championship even with a better schedule.

BWAHAHAHA

Mettenberger hasn't played a snap at FBS level and will have to learn a new offense.

We have an even tougher schedule next year than this year, and we lose a ton on defense.

We couldn't stop Auburn this year, it will be worse next year and i doubt Chavis can stop UO given he can't stop the spread that has that kind of talent.

LSU has almost no shot at the NC last year and we'll likely be top 20 at best if we're lucky.

None of the 3 all SEC players you just named were a factor yesterday.
I guess you could say Peterson is never a factor since they don't ever throw on him. When Drake gets double team someone needs to step up on the d line. If Kelvin keeps going high he will continue to get beat

on offense, I think Crowton's gone

He should have never been hired but if he were to be fired, it should have been last year. Miles is not going to fire him and they will ride the ship into the abyss.

Don't forget this is the guy that predicted that lsu would go 7-5 this year, and had no shot at beating florida or alabama. Fwiw

With the players returning, it should be. The 2011 team should lose no more than two at the most. Unless some changes are made in the staff, I will be skeptical.

wow, the now popular "next year". sure....everyone needs to look out next year! Les will all of a sudden drastically change his style, grow a logical brain, and miraculously make all of the grossly disgusting problems that this football team has been plagued with the past 2.5 years go away. now i'm excited!

With 6 games away from Death Valley, it sure is going to have to be a "every bounce goes our way" kind of year if we are going to make it to ATlanta and then on to the NC.
