Bolden was brought here to provide depth at QB.

No. Bolden was brought as insurance in case Mett went down and Rivers wasn't ready.

Isn't that exactly what depth is??

No, Bolden didn't have to sit out. Penn State players were allowed to transfer without sitting.

This is news to me.

Didn't realize that you had insider info. I guess you've seen how proven Rivers really is.

If it wasn't the case, then usc has some splaining to do since they played that running back.

There is a reason he wanted out and it had nothing to do with the scandal. The dude was benched at Penn St after a concussion and never saw meaningful snaps after that. He tried to transfer in 2011 but Paterno said no. When the NCAA said all players could leave if they wanted with no delay, he took off.

He never did anything worth mentioning at Penn St and is the reason he was passed up on the depth chart. By the time he transferred he was 3rd string.

His role at LSU is to add depth as someone recently said and he also has a big role as a scout QB.

Dude, Bolden was fricking horrible at Penn State

Career Passing Stats:

165 of 328, (50.3%), 2,045 yards, 7 TDs, and 14 INTs

Career Rushing Stats:

59 carries, 27 yards, (0.5 YPC), 1 TD

In other words, he isnt playing anytime soon and isnt the answer

Your joking rt?

Lee was a 5th yr sr, JJ was a 4th year.

Come on this argument holds no water and we played 15 freshman last year.

Probably because you're an idiot.

OP, please never post again. Bolden is god awful at QB. Only reason he is still here is to be scout QB.

Funniest thing about it, the same people who wanted Mett to start in 2011, now want Rivers/Bolden to start over Mett.

Backup QBs at LSU have it made

Solid stats there. He isn't playing why?

He was a true freshman. Not like any of our QBs in the past half decade have lit up the stats board. Especially as 18 year olds

Also a slight difference in the way they play defense in the Big 10 compared to the SEC boss.

I am assuming he still lives...I think I saw more references to snookie.
