Does anyone have a video of the "fumble" from the game?

I was at the game so I didn't watch it on TV and obviously Auburn did not show a replay of the play as it would only have hurt them to do so. I still haven't seen the play and haven't had time to do a full rewatch yet. If anyone has a quick link or gif it'd be much appreciated. Thank you.

No gif but I don’t think we recovered it anyways.

It was recovered by the Auburn player that fumbled.
At first it looked as though LSU recovered because we had 3 guys there and an LSU player signaled LSU ball, but after rewatching the Auburn player clearly recovered his own fumble.

I was wondering same thing, thanks for clarifying...I thought we recovered but figured maybe a whistle blew because no review....

whole game
no one "recovered" the fumble. the refs blew the whistle before anyone had possession. there's no way to tell what the refs would have seen in the scrum. there definitely were a couple of defenders there who might have been able to get it. yes, davis handed the ball to the ref but that was after the whistle had sounded and the lsu players abandoned the play
of course, this is all missing the point. the play was fubar all the way.
the refs missed the fumble.
that caused them to blow the play dead prematurely.
then, inexplicably, there was no review. even after lsu took a timeout. SHADY

The initial call was blown. But the guy who fumbled it came away with it from the pile, so the review at most could have pushed auburn back 2 yards.

I thought if we got that and went up 17-0 it would be hard for Auburn to have a shot. I know that’s a totally different game, but I think it would have been huge LSU blowout if that play went LSU’s way. The refs kept it interesting.

The near sideline ref blew it as an incomplete pass right from the beginning. Once that is done, it cannot be reviewed. That's the rule: the whistle is definitive.
Sucks because it should have been a fumble, and there is no telling if LSU gave up on trying to pull the football out due to the whistle.
