Only dumb fricks think LSU would struggle outside the SEC. It doesn't add up. They do understand that fricking TULANE has been a consistent playoff level team in recent years, right? Give me a fuxking break idiots. LSU is a unique monster that will never suffer

No. We were in the Big 3 that fricking created the SEC. Tennessee, Alabama, and LSU were the 3 schools at the Pre-SEC discovery session in the early 30's. LSU, along with Tennessee, were the first to advocate for creating the SEC and got Bama and Georgia on board at that discovery meeting. They drew the map at the discovery meeting. A few months later, the meeting in Knoxville took place, with invitations sent to the founding member schools, including Sewanee, Tulane, and Georgia Tech. Dan Hardesty's 'Louisiana Tigers" goes into detail on how the SEC was created and how LSU played a critical role.

SEC is a cash cow; even though Sankey fricked up the current SEC TV deal, B1G has lapped the SEC

Also if Notre Dame can survive being an independent so can we.

I think you are overvalueing our brand even though we are a huge brand.

LSU needs the 75 million TV money to make things work.

One of the reasons Notre Dame is able to do it is because of their nationwide audience. They have fans in every state because of the Catholic connection and that's who there dad and grandpa watched or listened to every Saturday for 100 years.

Lsu obviously has fans all over but we are much more of a regional fanbase compared to ND.

No, but if your wife filed for divorce on you, would you beg her to take you back or go straight tagging some younger strange? Loyalty and respect work both ways.

Depends. But I do t think the SEC is going to remain the premier league it once was. Not saying it’s going to become irrelevant. I just think there’s going to r more diversity in championships now and that’s a good thing.

No, it would be boring. The reg season is the fun part of CFB. Replacing LSU, Auburn, UT, etc with Purdue, Rutgers, Illinois, etc would be a major drag

*apologies I confused which board I was posting to
