And what does that do for the trajectories for both programs? I imagine it's a great recruitment piece for Kelly coming in year one and having a 9-3 type year and winning head to head. Where as it's Jimbos 5th season and his offense looks progressively worse.

Not sure but I know LSU has a better trajectory. Jimbo is stale and won’t change. Aggie fans know it. They’re screwed for a few years at least

Their fans keep saying that their schedule was front loaded, but they could seriously go 6-6 or 5-7

Idk, I think Kelly was a great hire and I love what he is doing to stabilize this program, but I really hope he doesn’t allow his offense to get stuck in the past like Les, Jimbo, and so many old school guys. He has to take a lessen from Saban and change with the times. Unfortunately jimbos team will probably finish the year out really well as all of those freshman from that all star class get more and more reps. I expect them to finish 8-4 or 9-3, I expect us to finish 7-5 or 8-4.

They have to play at South Carolina, but maybe the bye helped. Then it’s Ole Miss, Florida, Auburn and end with LSU. The only offense they keep up with is Auburn maybe

LSU is 5-2 while A&M is 3-3.
A&M might get to 7 before they play LSU, but we will beat them.

LSU finishes 9-3 with a win over Bama or ole miss.

Aggy hopes to get to 8-4

Kelly has done a good job if we make it to 7-5. That is a good start to pretty much a total rebuild from what he inherited.

Living in central Texas, I’m around Aggies a lot. Even married one. They’re sick and tired of Jimbo. Ready to move on. Many just calling him John James stating he’s no longer earned his nick name.

A&M loses to South Carolina this weekend for their 4th loss. Take it to the bank.

Then they still have to play UF, Ole Miss & LSU. Could get ugly.

I think we’re both 7-4 going into that game, so LSU finishes with the better record at 8-4.

Texas 8&4 fails to meet their 8 win ceiling!

Yeah they definitely look to be hitting their stride and on pace to run the table and beat LSU…
